대학원 진학에 필요한 영어 점수 획득을 위한 연수기간은 어느 정도일지에 관한 문의 이신데 연수기간은 현제 님의 영어 능력에 따라 많은 차이를 보일 것입니다.

일반적인 영국대학들이 요구하는 입학시 영어 점수라믄 ielts6.5 내외의 영어 성적을 요구하는 편인데 ielts 6.5의 성적을 얻기까지 연수 기간을 예상해본다면 현제 영어 실력에 따라 다음과 같이 예상해 볼수 있을것입니다.

현재 ielts 4.0 : 약 2년 이상 연수 필요 (pre-intermediate 수준에서)
현재 ielts 4.5 : 약 15-20개월 이상 연수 필요(intermediate 수준에서)
현재 ielts 5.0 : 약 9-16개월 정도 연수 필요(upper-intermediate 수준에서)
현재 ielts 5.5 : 약 8-10개월 정도 연수 필요(advanced 수준에서)
현재 ielts 6.0 : 약 3-6개월 정도 연수 필요(advanced or proficiency 수준에서)
현재 ielts 6.5 : 1-3개월 연수 후 영어 감각을 살려서 진학

물론 이런 기간 계산은 개인별로 많은 차이가 날수 있는것이므로 참고용으로만 알아두시기 바랍니다.

안녕하세요. 영국에서 Engineering Management 석사과정을 공부하려고 하는데요. 현재 직장인이고 학부에서도 이쪽을 전공했었구요.
음..근데 IELTS점수가 아직 없어서요. 영국에서 영어연수를 하면서 점수를 따려고 합니다. 6개월에서 1년 정도 연수를 하면 어느정도 점수가 나오지 않을까요?..저는 굳이 런던에서 하고 싶지는 않고 지방도 괜찮거든요. IELTS점수를 높이기 좋은 코스와 학교 좀 알려주세요..
