외국에서 생활을 해보셨다면 세계 어디를가나 누구라도 한번쯤은 인종 차별이나 이민족이라는 이유로 불이익을 당할 가능성이 있다는 것은 잘 아실 것입니다. 물론 영국도 전혀 전혀 인종차별과 같은 이민족에 대한 차별등이 전혀 없다고는 말씀 드리기 어려울것입니다. 그러나 우려할만큼 심각한 것은 아닐듯 한데 영국인의 경우 세계를 지배했던 자기 민족의 자긍심과 좋고 싫음을 바로바로 표현하지 않는 성향을 보이는 경우가 많아 실제적으로 차별을 느끼게되는 경우는 그리 많지 않습니다. 간혹 길을 가다가 놀림을 당하는 정도가 경우가 가장 흔히 겪을 수 있는 일이될듯한데 이런 경우도 대부분 어린아이들이거나 아니면 영국인이아닌 다른 이민족으로 부터 당하는 경우가 대부분입니다.
