영국학생비자법이 여려번 변경되면서 앞으로는 BRP 카드를 영국도착후 10일 이내에 영국학교 근처의 우체국에서 발급받으셔야 합니다.
하지만 영국의 대학교에서는 이러한 불편을 없애고자 직접 학교에서 발급해주는 시스템을 개발하여 학생들에게 편의를 제공해준다는 공지가 나왔습니다.
앞으로 퀸메리, 런던대학으로 입학을 하시는 분들은 온라인비자신청서에 작성하셔야 하는 BRP주소에, 퀸메리대학 BRP코드 2HE337 를 입력하시면 손쉽게 교내에서 발급받을수 있습니다.

From March 2015, the Home Office have introduced a new procedure requiring anyone applying for a UK visa from overseas which will be valid for longer than 6 months, to collect a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) within 10 days of arriving in the UK. This includes Tier 4 student visas.
Queen Mary University of London has been given permission by the Home Office to issue Biometric Residence Permits (BRP) on campus rather than our international students having to attend post offices nearby soon after arriving in country.
QMUL students are required to enter an ‘Alternative Collection Location (ACL)’ code in the ‘Alternative Location’ field in their application form. QMUL’s ACL code for use during the Visa application is 2HE337.
BRP’s will be sent to Queen Mary for collection within days of the students arriving in the UK. Students will only be able to collect their BRP from the Mile End campus. Further details about the collection of BRPs will be sent to students in the coming weeks.
